CENTENARY CELEBRATION OF YOUTH HOSTELLING INTERNATIONAL & 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF YHA OF INDIA
This programme will be held in Mysore (Karnataka, India) from where the Youth Hostel movement started in 1949 in India.
60th Anneversary of YHA of India Celebration in Mysore
In 1949, The Youth Hostels movement in India was started by some enthusiasts in
Mysore and 14th July is considered to be the starting date.
In order to celebrate 60 years of youth hostelling in India, a meeting of National Executive Committee has been called in Mysore (Karnataka). In the evening there will be a cultural programme by the Karnataka State branch to be attended by distinguished
guests.
